Today I am posting my first of many IBS friendly recipe videos. I was looking through a list of non-FODMAP foods and an idea popped into my head! Apple Chicken in a Crock Pot! I have cooked many whole chickens and turkeys stuffed with apples before only with other ingredients added to it. But I have always loved the taste of the apple the most.
The first time I made this, I used my family as genie-pigs and it was a huge hit! My husband even said it was now his favorite of all chicken recipes. Well, I guess he raved about it to his parents and two days later when we went to have dinner at their home, they put in a request for.. Apple Chicken! This time they used a pressure cooker and it turned out just a yummy. Since I have a fear of pressure cookers I’ll just stick with my good old crock pot!
