As many of you know I have IBS (for more info click here), sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome, a slow thyroid, and these are just a few. Don’t worry, this is not about how wrong everything is in my life, but rather how awesome my life is. Don’t get me wrong my life isn’t perfect, and it has it’s ups and downs just like everyone else’s….
With my last pregnancy I was on bed rest for four months with no form of exercise at all. After loosing all the baby weight,and being only 5’2″ I weighed in at 205 lbs. I have been a bit heavy for the last 12 years, but never even close to 200 lbs! At the end of this month my baby boy will be 3 years old. During the last 3 years, with the help of God, an amazing G.P. Doctor, Digestive Heath Doctor, massively changing my diet to a low-FODMAP way of eating (click here for more low-FODMAP info), and being determined to become a much more healthier me; for the first time in 11 years I stepped on the scale and this nice little number popped up!
It has been a long processes, at times seemed impossible, but there it is: 162.6 telling me it’s all worth it. I have now lost 42 lbs! My goal is 130 lbs, so I am only 32 lbs to my goal weight. I’m over halfway there!
One thing that needs to be done is a huge thank you to all of my wonderful family and friends that have been, and I know will still be, my inspiration, my cheerleaders, and being there when times got rough. I am blessed to have such an amazing support system!
