Healthy and low fodmap bolognaise (either in the slow cooker or on the stove top)

image (2)Bolognaise is one of my favourite meals – it’s the ultimate comfort food. When I started on low fodmap it was one of the first recipes I adapted. I don’t think you can notice the absence of onion and garlic – slow cooking gives it a deep, rich flavour, intensified by the herbs and the sundried tomatoes. Give it a go and let me know what you think! This recipe makes four servings, so you’ve got meals ready-to-go or to freeze. Or to serve a whole family!

It can either be made in the slow cooker, or on the stovetop. I’d definitely recommend getting a slow cooker if you haven’t got one – they aren’t that expensive and there are so many things you can make in them (stay tuned for more recipes!). They also make everything so easy – you just chop up everything, pop it in and you’re done…
